Science experiments

We have been learning about sound in science this term. Here are some children spinning purerehuas.

Listen very carefully to the buzzing sound they make when spinning. Children learnt that they had to be spun really fast to make a noise. It took a lot of effort!

Do you recognise these fruit in a large yoghurt pot? Being left for a month now.

This wholemeal bread had a best before date of 26 May.

These breads have been left out on the sink in the classroom since 17 June.  No mould can be seen growing yet but the bread is very hard.

These bread slices are being kept in a sealed plastic bag.  The white and wholemeal are growing mould.  Why do you think the grainy one isn't?

  1. We loved the Egg experiment Tu showed the class. Ava and Tiare practised at home, a few cracked eggs but whoop the excitement the times it worked.
