Keeping Ourselves Safe

We have a new set of 'children' in room 19.  They are all eggs!  Not boiled ones either.  As part of our programme Keeping Ourselves Safe, and understanding the concept that we are all precious and need looking after, the children are looking after an egg for four days.  Unfortunately one was broken before 9am on the first day and two more during the morning but with sticking plasters we have managed to save the latter.  All the eggs have names and many have little beds and houses.  We'll keep you posted on progress but after the four days are up, I plan to do use the eggs for a variety of Science experiments.  Will the children give them up I wonder?

  1. We loved looking after our egg, it braved the cold at netball and Nan was employed to babysit whilst we played. Tiares egg also went on a drive to Wellington to dine at Yum Cha - it did not gett on the menu and returned safely home.
